With the announcement of yesterday’s Outside Lands schedule I can now officially state that I’m more excited than a fat kid at a cake factory. As of today there are 16 days until the party begins. Fortunately, this year’s line up doesn’t have me doing a lot of running around to see my favorite bands.

Friday in particular, I’ll be at the Land’s End stage all damn day. Besides sneaking away for a moment early in the day to check out Phosphorescent at the Sutro stage, I’ll be camping out, waiting for Kanye West. I saw his Yeezus tour in Oakland last October, and I wouldn’t dare miss him perform again.
Saturday, I’ll start the day with Trails and Ways at the Twin Peaks stage, then head over to The Kooks at Lands End. Like Friday, this is where I’ll spend most of my day. That is, until Atmosphere starts over at the Sutro stage. Once Slug spits his last rhyme, I’ll keep with the hip-hop and make my way to Grammy winning Mackelmore and Ryan Lewis at Twin Peaks.
Sunday is my mystery day. There is a huge overlapping issue with CHVRCHES, Jenny Lewis, and Flume. I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Spoon and Lykke Li are another tough decision. From there it’s Cut Copy and The Killers to round out the festival. What is your schedule looking like for this year’s Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival?
