Portland’s The Dandy Warhols did their thang during their two hour performance at the Fillmore last Wednesday night in support of their eighth studio album, The Machine. Druggy, buzzy, tunes played over faded lights.
The psychedelic, alt-rock, lo-fiers featuring singer Courtney Taylor, guitarist Peter Holmstrom, drummer Brent DeBoer and looking-hotter-then-ever keyboardist Zia McCabe (whom did not bear her bare breasts as in prior performances) maintained their vibe going on two decades.
Playing a lot of new material but naturally highlights were tracks off their earlier albums including “We Used to be Friends,” “Horse Pills,” “You Were the Last High,” “Get Off,” “Heroin is so Passe,” and “Bohemian Like You.” Ending the show with “Country Leaver.”
Here is their newest video “Sad Vacation” off “The Machine.”
