Rock The Bells Set Time

Rock the Bells Set Times

Tomorrow Rock the Bells kicks off at the Shoreline Amphitheater, but unfortunately, MF Doom and Curren$y will not be performing. Curren$y broke his ankle during Rock The Bells in Southern California, while MF Doom continues to disappoint fans as a performer (if he even performed that is…).

Here are our thoughts on who you should see at Rock The Bells:

1. If you get there early check out Freddie Gibbs. He is a monster of a performer with plenty to say–just read our interview with Freddie Gibbs last year where we talked about killing Matt Kemp of the Dodger.

2. Fashawn, Blu, and Exile should be a stellar show. Having seen all of them live, we can tell you, few emcees vocally sound as clear and poised as these two. Not to mention, Exile is one of the best, most underrated producers out there.

3. Of course you have to see Black Star. How many more opportunities will you have to see the duo of Mos Def and Talib Kweli perform together.

4. Big K.R.I.T. is one of the most talked about rappers these days. Probably should find out why, don’t you think?

5. Hell–the whole lineup–is pretty stellar.
