[Video] Explosions in the Sky – ‘Last Known Surroundings’

Because it’s a Wednesday, you get the newest video from post-rock masters Explosions in the Sky for their song ‘Last Known Surroundings’ off their most recent LP, Take Care, Take Care, Take Care. As a matter of fact, it’s the only official video that Explosions in the Sky have put out in the 12 years they’ve been making records. The video’s theme, like all things Explosions in the Sky, is epic. If you enjoy the video and/or song, I highly (highly highly highly) recommend seeing them live. Things rarely come close. The energy and the sound put out by the band’s four members is rivaled (for me, at least) only by The Arcade Fire. They’ll be playing one of those special shows at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur on Labor Day. If you can’t make it down there, make sure to catch them the next time they float around, because it’s not often you get to see the live spectacle that is Explosions.
