Young rapper, The Fieldz, is as I said a while back on my site, a “prodigal product from Chesapeake, Virginia.”
This kid is only 16, he’s come out with five bangers that are a staple to my “All g’d up” playlist on my computer/ipod. Being from neither the suburbs or the projects/inner-city, Andre (The Fieldz) has the versatility to look at the prosperity and at the lack there of from both sides of the fence he’s standing on.
With his Andre 3000-esque voice, The Fieldz has really crushed these tracks and has done nothing but wonders for my mind when it comes to the hip-hop genre on my iTunes. Being up there with the boys from OFWGKTA (Tyler, the Creator; Hodgy Beats, Earl Sweatshirt…) I think that The Fieldz has nowhere to go but up and expand his popularity among the underground fans first, spreading outwards to the general public after that.
