Listen to Bun B “Trill G”

Bun B is to Southern rap what Jay Z is to New York. Originally one half of the legendary UGK group, Bun B has continued to produce album, after album, maintaining his position as one of the South’s most enamored emcees. In 2007, Pimp C, the other half of UGK, died from an overdose on coedine cough syrup (likely a result of “syrup”–mixing Hennessy and cough syrup). In discussion with NPR about his new album, Trill G, Bun B stated that this is “the first album of my new career.” You can listen to his album here.
